  • She has over 13 years of judicial experience, 5 years as judge of Kirkland Municipal Court and for the past 8 years as judge of the King County District Court.
  • She has tried over 100 jury trials as a lawyer and has presided over 200 jury trials as a judge.
  • She is currently the Presiding Judge of the West Division of King County District Court where, in addition to handling a full caseload, she is responsible for ensuring that the court runs efficiently and is responsive to the needs of the public.
  • Judge Spearman is consistently rated highly by the attorneys who appear before her according to King County Bar Association surveys conducted in 2002 and 2006.
  • She has run unopposed for re-election to District Court three times (2000, 2002 and 2006).
